Jan 25, Kathmandu- A couple from Tribeni, Rukum Paschim, has been found dead.

The children were found dead in a single room in Khumcheri-4 of the rural municipality.

According to Nannaram Bantha, ward chairman of Tribeni Rural Municipality-4, Lokendra Khadka, son of Bhagiram Khadka, and Sapana Pun Magar of ward number 6 were found dead at Lokendra's house who were 19 years old.

Lokendra had abducted Sapna for the wedding four days ago. According to ward chairman Bantha, both were found dead in Lokendra's temporary hut on Saturday morning.

The incident took place at home when Lokendra's mother went to Nepalgunj for treatment with her father after she fell ill. Lokendra, the only son, has a sister. The incident came to light when the parents were returning from Nepalgunj with their daughter, who is studying in Kathmandu.

The police have stated that they will investigate the incident by initiating the necessary legal process only after the parents arrive. According to locals, Lokendra was found hanging. Sapna's body is on the ground.
