Three Planes Deport 265 Illegal Immigrants To Guatemala

Jan 25, Kathmandu- US military planes carrying dozens of immigrants from the US have arrived in Guatemala.

Three flights have brought back 265 Guatemalans from Guatemala as US President Donald Trump moves to crack down on illegal immigration. Washington also sent four deportation flights to Mexico on Thursday. The Mexican government has not confirmed any agreement on the arrival of the flights, but Mexico's foreign ministry said it was ready to work with Washington on the deportation of its citizens, adding that Mexico "will always welcome Mexican citizens to its territory with open arms."

The White House said more than 1,000 people had been arrested in two days, hundreds were deported by military aircraft, and that the "largest deportation operation in history" was underway. 538 illegal immigrant "criminals" were arrested on Thursday, and 593 were arrested on Friday.
