Jan 25, Kathmandu- A couple who had eloped for a love marriage in Rukum West have been found dead inside their home. Lokendra Khadka, 19, and Sapana Pun Magar, also 19, of Khumcheri village, Tribeni rural municipality-4, in the district, were found dead inside their home, said Rishi Pathak, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Rukum West.

According to the police, Sapna and Lokendra had run away from home four days ago, saying they were getting married. When locals searched for them, they were both found dead in Lokendra's temporary hut around 9 am on Saturday, Pathak said.

According to the police, Lokendra's mother was ill. His father had taken his wife to Nepalgunj for treatment. The incident occurred at the same time at the house. The police have stated that they will initiate the necessary legal process and investigate the incident only after the deceased's parents arrive.
