Jan 26, Kathmandu- A man was arrested on Sunday after stabbing a man to death at a train station in the Japanese capital, Tokyo, police said.
The attack outside JR Nagano Station in central Japan on Wednesday evening was a rare case of violent crime. One person was killed and two others were injured in the attack.
Police have arrested a 46-year-old local man, an official said at a news conference broadcast by state broadcaster NHK.
He has been arrested on suspicion of involvement in the murder, and he may face additional charges.
According to local media, a 49-year-old man was killed in the attack, a 30-year-old man was seriously injured, and a 40-year-old woman suffered minor injuries.
Japanese media, citing investigative sources, said, "The attack targeted all three people at a bus stop outside the train station."
