Jan 27, Kathmandu- Malaysia has expelled (deported) 16 Nepali workers saying that they are staying illegally.
Those to be deported are Prakash Limbu, Ram Bahadur Sunuwar, Rajesh Shah, Amit Kumar Ram, Arbin Kumar Yadav, Karan Kumar Mochi, Pradeep Chokhyal, Dambar Bahadur Bohara, Ramdas Kewat, Surajdev Shah Teli, Dipendra Subba, Bhim Bahadur Tamang, Ganesh Pariyar, Makka Lama, Chitra Bahadur Khatri and Rajan Kumar Shahi.
The Malaysian government arrested and deported him for violating the country's immigration laws. The deported men returned to Nepal last week.
The Malaysian authorities have stated that they have been found to be changing companies while in Malaysia, engaging in work that is contrary to the labor agreement, and working even after their visas have expired.
