Jan 28, Kathmandu- A man's body has been found under a culvert on the Madan Bhandari Highway in Udayapurgadhi Rural Municipality-7 here. The body of Nagendra Bahadur Ghale, aged around 43, of Ghale Danda in the same ward, was found this afternoon.

The police have launched an investigation after the body was found, said Rajan Chapagain, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office. “We have sent trained dogs to the scene for investigation,” he said.

According to the police, Ghale had left the scene with friends after drinking alcohol from a nearby shop on Monday evening. The police have used dogs for investigation after locals refused to pick up the body, saying the incident was suspicious. According to local Hom Basnet, Madan Bhandari, road watchmen had informed the police after seeing the body under the culvert during cleaning.
