Jan 30, Kathmandu- Hamas is set to release eight prisoners today. The Israeli Prime Minister's Office has informed that Hamas is set to release eight prisoners, including three Israelis and five Thai citizens, from Gaza.
According to the list released under the mediation of Qatar and Egypt, 29-year-old Arbel Yahut, 19-year-old Agam Berger, and 80-year-old Gadi Mases are Israeli citizens. The name of the Thai citizen has not been disclosed.
Israel is also set to release 110 Hamas prisoners today, including 32 serving life sentences and 30 children.
In the first phase of the ceasefire, Hamas agreed to release 33 prisoners and Israel agreed to release 2,000 prisoners. Hamas also said that eight of the prisoners had died.
