Jan 31, Kathmandu- Suspended MP Rabi Lamichhane of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has reached the Parliament Secretariat in Singha Durbar with a petition seeking the lifting of his suspension from the post of MP.

Lamichhane will meet Speaker Devraj Ghimire shortly and request his release, claiming that the suspension is illegal and against the House of Representatives rules.

Lamichhane is scheduled to visit the parliamentary party office and meet with lawmakers before the start of the winter session of the federal parliament.

Before the start of the parliament session, Lamichhane is scheduled to brief his MPs on the latest current situation and the role they need to play.
