Jan 31, Kathmandu- Speaker Devraj Ghimire has moved forward with the parliament session amid a boycott by the opposition party Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).
As soon as the meeting began, the RSP MPs stood up and obstructed the proceedings. Speaker Ghimire repeatedly requested the RSP MPs to remain seated, saying that he would give them time to express their views on a party-based basis. But the RSP MPs remained seated. Later, they left the parliament meeting room, saying they would wait for 15 minutes.
