We demand for an investigation committee into all the scandals: Swarnim Wagle

Jan 31, Kathmandu- Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Vice Chairman Swarnim Wagle has said that a demand will be made for the formation of a judicial commission to investigate the assets of those who have reached government positions. He said this while presenting the party's plan at the House of Representatives meeting on Friday.

"Our permanent demand now is that a judicial commission should be formed under the Nepal Commission of Inquiry Act under the chairmanship of a former Chief Justice or a judge. We should now move forward by investigating the assets of all leaders who have held political office," he said.

MP Wagle also announced his plan to demand a committee to investigate all the corruption cases that is circulating. "Now, we are going to demand an investigation committee for all the scandals that are currently in circulation. From Bhutan to Cambodia, from Widebody to Ncell, from Baluwatar to Giribandhu, we will have to solve all these," he said.

He said that the current government, which has a two-thirds majority, has lost an important opportunity by attacking party president Rabi Lamichhane.
