Jan 31, Kathmandu- Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden has accused those around Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli of still engaging in corruption.
Lingden made this allegation while addressing a meeting of the House of Representatives on Friday.
However, he did not reveal who was involved in the corruption. Instead, he said that the Prime Minister himself was unaware of the corruption.
"Even during your six-month tenure, people around you are offering crores of rupees for various government-appointed positions,’ Lingden said during his address, ‘You said with a bang that I will not commit corruption and will not allow it. I don’t know whether you are doing it or not, those around you are doing it.’
He also claimed that the Prime Minister was out of touch with information.
“I think you are out of touch with information, like the king of Panchatantra,” Lingden said. “I say again that the people around you are still involved in corruption.”
