US plane crash: Pilot and crew chief of helicopter that crashed identified

Jan 31, Kathmandu- Two of the three people on board a military Black Hawk helicopter that crashed into a plane in the US capital, Washington, DC, have been identified.

According to the BBC, the crew chief, Ryan O'Hara, 29, and pilot Sam Lilley, have been identified. The identity of another member has not been released.

On Wednesday night, an American Airlines plane collided with a Black Hawk helicopter in mid-air and crashed into the Potomac River.

The incident killed 64 people on board.

This Bombardier CRJ700 aircraft was going from Kansas to Washington DC. According to the American media, after the collision, the plane broke into two pieces in the air and fell into the Potomac River.
