Netherlands Set Nepal A Target Of 141 Runs

Feb 02, Kathmandu- The Netherlands have presented a challenging target to the home team Nepal in the third match of the Nepal Women T20I Tri Series.

The Netherlands, which won the toss and elected to bat at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, scored 140 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Captain Captain Babette de Leede contributed the most with 41 runs for the Netherlands. Similarly, Heather Siegers scored 26 runs while Phebe Molkenboer and Robin Rijcke each added 21 runs.

In bowling, Nepal's Sita Ranamagar took 5 wickets alone.

In the ongoing tournament, Nepal had lost in both the matches played earlier. In their first match, Nepal was defeated by 20 runs against the Netherlands and in the second match, they were defeated by four wickets against Thailand.
