Feb 03, Kathmandu- Business leaders have said that US President Donald Trump's tax policies will affect America itself. Most American organizations related to industry and business have opposed Trump's policies.

They have warned that increased tariffs on foreign goods will affect the United States itself. Organizations such as the National Association of Home Builders, the American Apparel and Footwear Association, the United Workers, and the Distilled Spirits Council have expressed opposition.

Similarly, the industry is worried about the tariffs Trump has imposed on Canada, Mexico, and China. The countries that recently raised the tariffs have protested, while industrialists in the US and Asian countries have expressed concern that Trump's tax policies will destroy businesses, according to the news agency AFP.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has announced retaliatory tariffs. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has also announced retaliatory tariffs, according to reports. China has also objected to President Trump's move.
