Feb 06, Kathmandu- With the aim of raising awareness about women's health and fitness, 'Kathmandu Pink Careathon' is going to be held on March 22. Leisure Port Nepal is going to organize this program.

The Kathmandu Pink Careathon will feature various programs including women's running, Zumba, and more. The main objective of this event, which can be participated by women of any age group, is to encourage women who are always busy with household chores and daily life to take time for their health, said Namraj Joshi, president of the organizing organization, Leisure Port Nepal.

According to information given by the organizers at a press conference held in the capital on Thursday, 2,500 to 3,000 women are expected to participate in the Pink CareAthon this time.

Artist Usha Rajak has been announced as the goodwill ambassador of Kathmandu Pink Careathon. This event, which was previously held under the name of Kathmandu Pink Careathon, is being organized under the name of Kathmandu Pink Careathon this time to reflect more Nepaliness.

Leisure Port organized the Kathmandu Pinkathon for 3 years from 2017 to 2019. Then, the event, which was postponed due to the COVID pandemic and other social and economic reasons, was organized in 2024. The organizing organization has informed that the event will be held grandly this year as well.
