Feb 07, Kathmandu- An investigation has revealed that passengers on Hong Kong's Cathay Pacific Airlines suffered food poisoning from the food served there.
The Department of Food Technology and Quality Control has stated that food poisoning was found in food at Hong Kong International Airport, in a report sent by the Centre for Health Protection there.
The food was mentioned in a report prepared by Cathay Pacific Catering Services Limited, located at the Hong Kong Airport premises.
Forty-three passengers who flew from Kathmandu to Hong Kong on Cathay Pacific Airlines on January 8 and 9 suffered from food poisoning. The passengers were treated at North Lantau Hospital in Hong Kong after feeling unwell for two days during the flight.
