Feb 07, Kathmandu- A plane carrying 10 passengers went missing in the northwestern US state of Alaska on Thursday. The Bering Air plane went missing near Noma, Alaska on Thursday afternoon.
The Alaska State Police said the plane was carrying nine passengers and one pilot. It was en route from Unalakleet to Nome when it went missing at 4:00 p.m. local time.
The two cities are located approximately 146 miles (235 km) apart.
Search and rescue workers are working to obtain more information about the plane, the agency said.
In the United States, a passenger plane crashed into a US military helicopter in the capital, Washington, on January 30, killing all 67 people on board.
Similarly, another medical plane crashed in a busy area of Philadelphia, killing seven people and injuring 19 others.
