Feb 07, Kathmandu- Singer Eleena Chauhan says she has started being called a cheater. She made the comment when a student audience member requested her to sing the song "Dhokebaaz" before performing at the White House Literature Festival on Friday.
"Did the song say "Dhokebaaz" to me? Now, when I hear the word "Dhokebaaz," I feel like it's saying it to me," she said. The audience member asked if more people have been cheated on in love than Wansmore in the song "Dhokebaaz." She suggested that it's time to read and not fall in love.
Similarly, she said that she did not feel like singing many Dhokebaaz songs in the current situation. "There has been a recent breakup. At a time like this, one should not sing Dhokebaaz many times. I am not in the mood to sing Dhokebaaz many times," she said. Then she sang the song "What do you love?"
Apart from this, she sang songs like "Timro Mayale Bandhera Rakha", "Dhokebaaz Hau Timi", "Katta Handinchu", "Raksi Chirot Chaidna Paunanu", "Dushman Hereko Herei", "Mineral Water" and other memorable songs.
Singer Chauhan filed a divorce case against her husband Bishnu Sapkota in the Kathmandu District Court last Friday.
