Samajwadi Party's General Convention Begins On Sunday

Feb 08, Kathmandu- The Nepal Samajwadi Party (Naya Shakti) has stated that all preparations for its first general convention, which will begin on Sunday, have been completed.

One thousand and five delegates will participate in the general convention to be held at the Nepal Academy from Magh 12 to 13, informed Hisila Yami, coordinator of the general convention management committee.

According to the information given at a press conference organized by the party here today, the party will give priority to strengthening the internal democracy within the political party, strengthening the party, good political practice, and building an organization with an inclusive character in accordance with the spirit of the constitution. In addition, a 99-member central committee including 11 office bearers will be elected through the general convention.

Naya Shakti has stated that there is a possibility of collaboration with progressive, alternative, and transformative political forces in the country.
