Feb 09, Kathmandu- Four people, including the driver, have died in a school bus accident in Bhanjyang, Pharping, Dakshinkali Municipality-3, Kathmandu.
According to the Pharping police, a bus carrying about 50 students from Junkiri English School met with an accident at around 4 pm on Sunday. Mohan Basnet, mayor of Dakshinakali Municipality, informed Deshaschanchar that the driver and three students died in the accident. “Information has been received that four people, including the driver, have died,” he said.
Some of the injured have also been taken to a local hospital and the Medicity Hospital for treatment.
There were about 50 children on the bus.
Police said that additional rescue operations are ongoing at the scene by locals and security personnel.
