Feb 10, Kathmandu- Shivaisi Attaria has won the title of 'Arjun Trophy National T20 Championship' held in Dhangadhi. Attariya defeated Friends Youth Club Dadeldhura by 34 runs in the final match held today.

Along with the title, Attaria received a prize of 10 lakh rupees. Runner-up Dadeldhura received a prize of Rs 500,000. Despite being given a target of 119 runs to win, Dadeldhura scored only 84 runs. For Dadeldhura, Gajendra Bohara scored 24, Kushal Bhurtel 20, and Ashok Dhami scored 10 runs.

For Attaria, Shahab Alam and Dipesh Kandel took three wickets each, while Kamal Gupta and Vivek Yadav took two wickets each.

Earlier, Attariya, who won the toss and elected to bat first at the Fapla Cricket Ground, scored 118 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs. Rashid Khan scored 31 runs, captain Santosh Karki scored 20 runs, and Shankar Rana scored 20 runs.

On the bowling front, Abhishek Gautam took 4 wickets for Dadeldhura for 15 runs in 4 overs. Kushal Bhurtel and Abhishek Chauhan took one wicket each. Eight teams participated in the competition.
