Feb 11, Kathmandu- At least one person was killed and others were injured when private jets collided at Scottsdale Airport in Arizona, United States, on Monday.
The Federal Aviation Administration says a private jet skidded off the runway and collided with another jet. The US government has now launched an investigation into the matter. This is the fourth plane crash in the US in the last 10 days.
According to information, this incident took place on Monday afternoon at 2:45 pm. The Learjet 35A aircraft skidded off the runway after landing. A Gulfstream G200 then collided with a business jet on the ramp. Flights at the airport were temporarily suspended. It is not yet known how many passengers were on board the aircraft.
Earlier, a plane flying from Alaska to Nome, USA, suddenly disappeared, after which a search was launched and now the wreckage of the plane has been found in the sea ice. The plane crashed into sea ice and all 10 people on board were killed.
Informing about the incident, US Coast Guard spokesman Mike Salerno said that rescue teams were continuing to search for the missing plane using helicopters and that the search team had found the wreckage of the plane on the sea ice. When two divers went down to investigate, it was found that the pilot and nine passengers on board the plane were dead.
