Feb 11, Kathmandu- The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal has decided to reject the land ordinance brought by the government.
Vice President Raj Kishore Yadav said that the parliamentary party meeting held at Singha Durbar decided not to support the land ordinance.
He said that the decision to support it was made after necessary discussions as the government had already brought five other ordinances with the conclusion that the land ordinance was not in the long-term interest of the country.
The JSP Nepal government is the deciding factor in passing the ordinance through the National Assembly. Since JSP Nepal is opposing, the land ordinance brought by the government will not be passed.
After the government asked for help, JSP Nepal formed a task force under the leadership of Vice President Yadav to study it.
