Feb 13, Kathmandu- Schools and transportation have been closed across Turkey due to heavy snowfall. Schools in Kahramanmaras, Adiyaman and Malatya, in southern Turkey and on the country's northern coast, such as Samsun and Sinop, have been closed due to the snowfall.
They also ordered traffic closures. They said roads in 335 villages in the northern province of Kastamonu were closed. In Istanbul, the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality said heavy snowfall would continue into the weekend.
