Feb 13, Kathmandu- An explosives bomb has been found near the Nepali Army barrack in Triveni Rural Municipality of Rukum Paschim. The bomb was found in the farmland of Ramesh Oli in Patla, Triveni Rural Municipality-6.
According to Police Inspector Rishi Pathak, Information Officer of the District Police Office, the bomb found while working in Oli's farm on Wednesday evening was defused today. Locals had informed the Jhulneta police post that an iron object resembling a socket bomb had been found.
After that, a team of security personnel from Police Station Jhunneta and Chandi Dal Gana Security Post Khara reached the spot. The police said that the bomb was defused in coordination with the bomb disposal team.
On Magh 27, a bomb was also found in the Laligurans Community Forest area in Bitta of the same ward. That bomb was also defused. It is estimated that the bomb may have been left during the previous conflict.
