Divers Mobilized To Search For Missing Motorcyclist In Trishuli

Feb 14, Kathmandu- Divers have been mobilized to search for the driver who went missing in the Trishuli River after a motorcycle accident in Ichchhakamana Rural Municipality-5 of Chitwan on the Narayangadh-Muglin road section.

A team of six divers from the Armed Police Force's Disaster Management Training Academy, Kurintar, under the command of Armed Police Inspector Surya Ram Raut, has joined the search.

The motorcycle (Ba 006-02 Pa 9204) heading from Narayangadh to Muglin lost control and crashed into a divider on the side of the road, causing the motorcycle rider to fall into a trident.

According to DSP Mahato, the citizenship and identity card of 27-year-old Rohit Rana, formerly a resident of Chandareshwor VDC-3 in Lamjung and currently residing in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1 in Chitwan, were found at the accident site.

According to the said citizenship and circular, it has come to light that Rana is in the Indian Army. It is not yet known how many people were riding the motorcycle.
