Feb 15, Kathmandu- The fire that broke out in the Sinbadwar area of Nisikhola Rural Municipality-6 in Baglung has not yet been extinguished. The fire that broke out since 2 pm on Friday has not yet been extinguished, said Surya Bahadur Gharti Magar, the chairman of the rural municipality.
The fire broke out in the community forests of Sinbadwar, Siip, Tigrapani, Koskan, and Sun areas. He said that more than 100 sheepfolds in the area are at risk due to the fire.
A team has been deployed from the local and Nisi police stations to extinguish the fire. Chairman Magar said, "The area where the fire broke out is a place used by farmers of Nisikhola as sheep pasture. There are more than 100 sheepfolds and thousands of sheep and goats there, all of which are at risk of fire." The cause of the fire has not been determined yet.
