Feb 15, Kathmandu- Israel has released some Palestinian prisoners amid growing doubts about a ceasefire agreement between the rebel groups.

Israel released Palestinian prisoners on Saturday, shortly after Hamas released three Israeli hostages.

Israel has released long-time hostages Alexander Trofanov, Yer Horn and Sagui Dekel-Chen ahead of the release of Palestinian prisoners, the BBC reported.

Hamas recently threatened to block the release of the hostages, accusing Israel of violating the terms of the ceasefire agreement.

Israel also called Hamas's statement a complete violation of the ceasefire agreement.
