Former President Bhandari Departs For Bangkok, UML Leaders Bid Farewell At The Airport

Feb 17, Kathmandu- Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has left for Bangkok, the capital of Thailand.

Former President Bhandari left for Bangkok at 11:30 am. Several leaders of the CPN-UML had arrived at the airport to see Bhandari off.

UML leaders including UML Standing Committee member Bhanubhakta Dhakal, Organization Department Chief Kashinath Adhikari, UML Office Secretary Dr. Bhishma Raj Adhikari had reached the airport to bid farewell to Bhandari. Similarly, ANNFSU President Samik Badal had also reached the airport to bid farewell to him.

Bhandari, who served two terms as president while serving as the then vice-chairwoman of the CPN-UML, is preparing to return to active politics. For the past few months, Bhandari has been campaigning across the country to enter UML politics.
