Feb 22, Kathmandu- Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has openly discussed the wishes and aspirations of his wife Radhika Shakya. At the launch ceremony of his wife Radhika's book 'Karuna', Prime Minister Oli revealed the various demands that his wife Radhika has made of him.
He said that 'Karuna' is a true story-based literature, whether it is a novel, story or a story. He clarified that his wife Radhika's book is like 24-carat pure gold. 'Sometimes when I write a memoir, I also mix in a plot. But this book is 24-carat pure gold. This book is based on truth. No one can question its truth. I am also its friend,' he said.
He said that his wife Radhika also has some desires and aspirations deep down, and he came to know about them after reading the book. 'She (Radhika) also has some demands on me, deep down. Some desires. I wish I had done this, I wish I had done that,' he said. 'If I give her flowers on her birthday, she will know the next day. She felt that she should have remembered to give them. I felt that she should have told me. This has been going on between us for 37 years.'
He said that even though he could not give flowers to his wife Radhika on her birthday, he still celebrated his birthday with grandeur. Oli says that without Radhika, he would not have been able to survive.
'When I started getting sick, she would celebrate my birthday with grandeur. If it were not for Radhika, I would not have been able to live until now. Really, I was not. I am a person who has lived like a basil plant by building a monastery on the top of the courtyard and growing it every morning and evening. I am not like a jungle gnome, I am a person who has lived with care. Today I am 73. Tomorrow I will be 74,' he said. He said that it was not easy to save himself. 'It is not easy to save me, it is a little difficult,' he added.
