Indian Army Officer's Missing Body Discovered In Trishuli

Feb 23, Kathmandu- The body of Rohit Rana, who fell into the Trishuli River from the Ichchakamanama Bridge in Chitwan on Falgun 2, has been found by an Armed Police Force diver nine days later.

The motorcycle (Ba 06-02 Pa 9204) coming from Narayanghat towards Muglin met with an accident at around 11:40 am on February 2. The body of Rana, who was missing after the accident, was found today, Sunday.

A security force including divers deployed from the Armed Police Force, Nepal Disaster Management Training School, Kurintar under the command of Armed Police Inspector Bhul Bahadur Thapa found his body at 9:25 am on Sunday and pulled it out of the river.

Family members had said that he was working in the Indian Army and was on his way to Kathmandu from his home in Chitwan.
