MP Modi also warned that his party, the Maoist Center, would rise against such a move by the government.

"Today, the country is free from load shedding because of the MD of the Nepal Electricity Authority. However, the government is preparing to dismiss him by asking him for an explanation. Therefore, I want to tell the government – today, whoever is doing good work in this country, whoever is working in favor of the people, the government has not been able to do good work. It is removing and dismissing people who are doing good work. The main opposition party, the Maoist Center, will resist such wrongdoing", he said.
