Flights At Kathmandu Airport Affected Due To Light Equipment Failure

Feb 24, Kathmandu- At Tribhuvan International Airport, the flight/landing has been affected due to the breakdown of the aircraft's lighting on the runway. As a result, the airport was blocked for about 45 minutes after 8 am. The lights have now been repaired and flights and landings have resumed.

Gyanendra Bhul, Information Officer at the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, informed that scheduled flights are currently being delayed by 45 minutes to 1 hour due to the morning disruptions.

"Although flights have now resumed, flights have been delayed due to the morning effect," he said.
