Identifying non-communicable diseases: A month-long screening campaign in Kavre

Feb 24, Kathmandu- A month-long screening campaign has been launched in Kavrepalanchok to prevent non-communicable diseases. The District Health Office, Dhulikhel, has said that the screening campaign has been launched since Sunday with the aim of preventing the increase in the number of people with non-communicable diseases.

The screening campaign was launched as the risk of non-communicable diseases has been increasing in the age group above thirty for the last few years, said Ragishree Kakshapati Shrestha, head of the office.
