Feb 25, Kathmandu- The Surya Nepal NPGA Tour has started from Tuesday (today). The tournament, which is the fifth event of the Surya Nepal Golf Tour-2024-25, has started from today at the Gokarna Golf Club in Kathmandu.

The 72-hole tournament will be held till Friday. 30 professional golfers and 10 amateur players will compete in the tournament.

The winner of the competition, which has a total prize money of Rs 882,000, will receive Rs 150,000. Similarly, the second place winner will receive Rs 100,000 and the third place winner will receive Rs 75,000. According to the organizers, the top 21 players in the competition will receive cash prizes.

Professional golfers Bhuwan Nagarkoti, Niraj Tamang, Ravi Khadka, Dinesh Prajapati, Jayaram Shrestha, Dhan Thapa and Sanjay Lama will compete in the competition. Similarly, Sadbhav Acharya and Rahul Bishwakarma will be competing in the amateur category.
