Feb 27, Kathmandu- A person has died in Kavre after a pillar of an under-construction building collapsed. A 38-year-old Durjan of Sakhuwa Prasouni Rural Municipality-3 of Parsa was hit on the head by a pillar of the second floor when a dry landslide fell from above during the construction of the building of old age home in Namobuddha Municipality-1, Kanakot at around 3 pm on Thursday. Majhi died.

He died on the spot, informed Basundhara Khadka, Chief Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Kavre.

Police have secured the scene of the incident and a team deployed from the Area Police Office, Mangaltar, is investigating the incident, she said.
