Feb 27, Kathmandu- A laborer has died in a dry landslide in Kavre.
Police have said that Durjan Majhi, aged around 38, son of Kaileshwor Majhi, a resident of Sakhuwaparseni Rural Municipality-3 in Parsa district, has died.
While constructing a building for an old age home in Kanakot, Namobuddha Municipality-1, Majhi was hit on the head by a dry landslide from above and a pillar of the second floor of the building fell on him.
Upon receiving the news, a police team under the command of Police Constable Lok Nath Sapkota was deployed from the Shyampati Police Station.
A police team under the command of Police Inspector Krishna Giri was deployed from the Mangaltar Police Station to investigate the incident, according to Kavre Police.
