Feb 28, Kathmandu- Sharada Shrestha, Nepal's first female judge and the second female judge to reach the Supreme Court, has passed away.
According to Supreme Court Information Officer Nirajan Pandey, Shrestha died at 5 am today, Friday, during treatment.
She passed away at the Police Hospital in Maharajgunj, Information Officer Pandey said. She was 84 years old.
It is reported that Shrestha will be cremated at Aryaghat in Pashupati at 4 pm today.
