Feb 28, Kathmandu- Nepali Congress Chairman Sher Bahadur Deuba has called a meeting of the party's top leaders.
After Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli called a meeting of the high-level political mechanism at 5 pm, President Deuba called party office-bearers and former office-bearers to his personal residence in Budhanilkantha at 4 pm for discussions in the party.
The agenda of the meeting is said to include discussions on the ordinances presented in Parliament and the convention of the party's sister organizations.
The ruling party has intensified the discussions after the land ordinance introduced by the government was stalled for the past month due to the failure to secure a majority in the National Assembly.
