Mar 01, Kathmandu- A woman from Kanepokhari, Morang, who was injured in a fire, has died during treatment.

According to the police, 55-year-old Rita Budhathoki of Kanepokhari Rural Municipality-1, Hoklabari, died while undergoing treatment.

According to Morang Police Chief SP Narayan Prasad Chimaria, she was seriously injured after being burned by a sari while cooking a cow's khole on Magh 17.

After initial treatment at Birat Teaching Hospital, she was taken to Kathmandu for further treatment. Police said Rita died on Saturday morning while undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital in Kathmandu.
