Mar 03, Kathmandu- More than 25 students suddenly fainted on Monday at Nepal National Secondary School in Katibaluwa, Kalikamai Rural Municipality-4, Parsa.
The students fainted as soon as classes resumed in the classrooms after the prayers on Monday morning. More than 25 students from grades 6 to 10 of the school suddenly fainted, said the rural municipality chairman, Bashisht Prasad Kalwar.
Kalwar said that the students who fainted in the classroom were taken to Pokhariya Hospital in Pokhariya for treatment and that all except one are out of danger. According to him, the reason for the students' fainting has not been revealed. The village council chairman said that the school was closed after the students fainted.
