Mar 03, Kathmandu- A father and sister have been arrested on charges of beating and murder in Palpa.

39-year-old Yagya Bahadur Kumal of Bagnaspali Rural Municipality-2 Pokharathok died on the 15th of Falgun.

Initially, Kumal's wife took him to Mission Hospital in Palpa for treatment after he suddenly fainted. However, the doctors declared Kumal dead.

This incident happened on 15th of Falgun around 7.30 pm.

During the investigation of the incident, it was revealed that Yagya's 63-year-old father Sher Bahadur Kumal and 45-year-old sister Devi Kumal had beaten her during a fight over a domestic dispute.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Sunil Malla, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Palpa, informed that the father and sister who beat her were taken into custody and further investigation into the incident is underway.
