Foreign Minister And Home Minister Meet Prakriti Lamsal's Parents

Mar 03, Kathmandu- Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba and Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak have met the parents of Prakriti Lamsal, who died suspiciously at KIIT College in Odisha, India.

Foreign Minister Deuba has informed that he has reached the maternal uncle's house in Butwal and met with the late Prakriti's parents. During the meeting, Minister Deuba informed the family that the government is making every possible effort to ensure justice for Prakriti.

Prakriti, a third-year B.Tech student at KIIT, was found dead in her college dormitory some time ago. After that, Nepali students raised their voices for justice for Prakriti. Some students have also returned to Nepal.

However, after the initiative of officials from both countries, the atmosphere in the college became normal. Officials from the Nepali Embassy in India reached the college and coordinated for the safety of Nepali students.
