Agreement To Increase LP Gas Price by Rs 12.75, Protest Withdrawn

Mar 04, Kathmandu- Nepal LPG industry workers have called off their protest after reaching a five-point agreement with the government.

After four hours of talks on Tuesday, a five-point agreement was reached between the government team led by Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce and Supplies Govinda Bahadur Karki and the Nepal LPG Industry Association, including an agreement to increase the price of gas by Rs 12.75.

As per the agreement, the price of gas has now increased from Rs 1,910 to Rs 1,922.75 per cylinder. According to the Nepal LP Gas Industry Association, the protest has been called off with the agreement.
