India Restrict Australia To 264 Runs

Mar 04, Kathmandu- India and Australia are currently playing in the semi-finals of the Champions Trophy cricket. India is chasing a target of 265 runs to win the match being played at the neutral venue Dubai International Stadium.

Earlier, Australia, who had won the toss and batted first, were all out for 264 in 49.3 overs.

Captain Steven Smith scored 73 and Alex Carey scored 61. Similarly, opener Travis Head scored 39.

For India, who have lost the toss 14 times, Mohammed Shami took 3 wickets, while Ravindra Jadeja and Varun Chakraborty took 2 wickets each. Similarly, Hardik Pandya and Axar Patel took 1 wicket each.

India has lost 14 consecutive tosses in ODIs so far. This is a record for any team. Earlier, the Netherlands had lost 11 consecutive tosses.

The winner of this match will play the winner of New Zealand vs South Africa next Sunday in the final.

New Zealand and South Africa will face each other in the second semi-final on Thursday.
