Mar 08, Kathmandu- The District Police Office, Makawanpur, has arrested seven teenagers in a rape case. They were arrested on the basis of a complaint filed by a young woman alleging that she was raped in a forest near the Banaskhandi Temple in Hetauda-2, district on 6th Magh at 8:30 am.

Makawanpur Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyam Aryal said that the victim girl filed a complaint at the District Police Office on Falgun 21. According to him, during the investigation based on the complaint, the accused teenagers living in various places in Hetauda were taken into custody on Falgun 22. The police said that the investigation is underway after obtaining a 5-day remand from the Makawanpur District Court, Hetauda, ​​in a case of rape. All the teenagers are under the age of 18.
