Mar 08, Kathmandu- The film 'Anjila', which will be released nationwide from Falgun 29, has premiered in Dharan. The premiere, held at Friends Cinemas in Dharan on Friday evening, was attended by the film unit, players and local journalists.
The film based on the life of Anjila Tumbapo Subba, the captain and goalkeeper of the Nepali women's national football team, was premiered in Dharan after Hong Kong, Korea and the UK.
Apart from Angela Tumbapo Subba, the film also stars Prem Kumar Shrestha, Dayahang Rai, Sunil Thapa, Bijay Baral, Sirjana Subba, Maotse Gurung and Buddhi Tamang in the lead roles. Those who attended the premiere said that the film touched their hearts. The film is directed by Milan Chams.
The film has been shot in Ainadere, Ilam's birthplace, Jhapa, and Kathmandu. Produced under the banner of Moon Love Entertainment, the film is produced by Prem Kumar Shrestha. The film, which is executive produced by Binod Agrawal, is co-produced by Tubendra Limbu and Rajesh Bagadiya.
