KMC Conducting Fire Control Training Using Technology

Mar 09, Kathmandu- Kathmandu Metropolitan City has started practicing the use of technology to immediately control potential fire incidents.

Jagadish Aryal, head of the disaster management department of the metropolis, informed that 40 people were trained and practiced. Aryal said that the exercise held at the National Assembly House today included employees of the municipal police, fire department, administration department, disaster management department, administration department and information technology department. Aryal said that capacity development has been started because it is necessary to work to reduce damage during a fire and preventing fire accidents from happening is the best option.

The metropolis currently has 4 fire engines that can work at full capacity. One is under repair. One fire engine and one rescue truck have been placed on the new road. There are 2 in Balaju and one in Ramhiti.
