Mar 10, Kathmandu- National Assembly Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal has certified four bills. Chairman Dahal certified the four bills that originated in the National Assembly on Monday.

The bills certified by Chairman Dahal will be sent to President Ram Chandra Poudel on Tuesday for certification, the Parliament Secretariat has said.

He has certified the Secure Transactions (First Amendment) Bill, 2080, the Electronic Commerce Bill, 2080, the Legislation Bill, 2080 and the Prevention of Corruption (First Amendment) Bill, 2076 BS.

The Speaker of the National Assembly must certify the bill as per Article 113 (1) of the Constitution and submit it to the President for certification as per Article 113 (2). After the President has certified the bill, it comes into force as an Act.
