Mar 11, Kathmandu- US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has said that Ukraine must give up territory occupied by Russia. He called on Ukraine to give up the land if it wants peace and not war.

Rubio said on Monday that Ukraine should not claim territory that Russia has occupied since 2014.

"I think it's important for both sides to understand that there is no military solution to this conflict. Russia cannot take all of Ukraine, and it would be very difficult for Ukraine to return to the pre-2014 situation," he said.

Rubio has also called on Russia and Ukraine to be prepared to take tough decisions. Rubio has arrived in Saudi Arabia. He is scheduled to meet with senior Ukrainian officials in Saudi Arabia.

A few days ago, there was an argument during talks at the White House between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and US President Donald Trump. The talks were not successful due to the argument.

The US Secretary of State has come to Saudi Arabia for talks with Ukrainian officials to resolve the bitterness that arose after the dispute.
